It would be easy to think of this place in one type of way. Here's something I've noticed this week. People often don't match their surroundings and possessions. In particular, when your surroundings and possessions are generally less a demonstration of the values you hold than your intimacies. I walk through the desert of Carabayllo, and I am welcomed into a rich sweet life featured above. Perception and reality are often deliciously different. The young woman featured about has a healthy new baby and has been involved in our program. Her proud mom stands next to her supporting all the girls involved.
