…the best thing that can happen is to not stop. This is not hero-based, active language—- “Keep going!” This is simply the more humble “not stopping.”
I am pretty sure this concept receives less recognition than it should. Not stopping describes more what big processes are really like and how they feel especially when you are chronically outside your comfort zone. Your work is to simply manage your situation on an ongoing basis, to not lose it or fall apart, to not neglect really important things while overall maintaining all-critical sanity.
In these contexts, I also want to crawl under tables. This is part of that sentiment too, and I think these things are part of being a person who takes risks.
