A rooster just crowed from outside my apartment window. It´s funny as roosters have crowed outside my apartment in Carabayllo, Iquitos, and maybe, if I remember correctly, in Cusco. It´s another way of reminding me of reminding me that I am in Peru.

Also, my neighbor in Iquitos, a very talkative guy from St. Louis, Missouri has the loudest voice in our small open-air building where I live. Louder than the German guy, louder than any Peruvian, or the Australian. He is as friendly as he is loud.
