A Birthday

I am 36 years old today. I am older than I have ever been.

Are things really different?

Yes, they are. They are better. I am excited for the version of things.

I have underlined about an eighth of A Gentleman of Moscow. It describes a moment experienced by Count, the main character when watching another man juggle knives. He described it:

“…feeling that this moment, this hour, this universe could not be improved upon.”
