I wrote myself an email this week. In it, I said:
“Thank goodness I dug these channels out before.”
I want to write a love letter to my experience from a few years ago. When I worked as clinic manager at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. I was there from 2012 to 2017. I struggled a lot, and I learned a lot.
I want a write a love letter to myself and what I learned, sat through, and dealt with. In that letter, I would acknowledge how much that learning still serves me.
More than a gold paperweight of experience but rather a living breathing series of lessons I will digest and probably feel again and again.
What we learn from experiences probably doesn´t get the credit is usually deserves, but I believe these experiences become the ground we stand on the future. The ground I am now standing on in Iquitos.
