There are moments when fear hits you. It can be sparks of fear, not flames. Where you become really uncomfortable for a few minutes. Flames of fear are painful, harder to deal with, and stronger. Sparks of fear are when I pause and wonder “Why do I feel so miserable right now?” Last night, I pinned it down. I had fear. For example, when I pay attention to a part of my body that hurts (like my feet right now after the trek last weekend), and you pause and say “Yes, this is still hurting.” There is something revolutionary about it on the personal-Universe level.
This still hurts. I just remembered.
