It is really easy to zone out. Especially when listening to other people in long dense meetings. Especially when it takes work to stay focused and on track. It is also easy to zone out in pretty much every other context of life but really notably when other people are talking. I am sorry to admit this, but I think if I say it will make it more clear. It requires effort to actually listen and pay attention. It also takes effort to use my abdominal muscles to have good posture. Things that matter require effort because we are humans who do things.
So, I have to focus during meetings.
I have to relax the muscles on my face becuase I understand Spanish better when I am not tense. I have to breathe, relax, and listen. Yep.
