Home

One thing, I need, is home. A sense of domestic space where there is air, light, water, good food, and spaces where I can rest and be quiet. I think that sums it up so nicely. I had about 2 years where I had transitional (yet often lovely) homespaces for corners of time.

I have arrived in a new situation.

My new apartment in Lima has opened the arms of my life. It has tucked me in and nurtured me. We had a party last night where I invited people from all corners of my life. We drank wine and cocktails. My roomate Dani and I both cooked all afternoon. We played music, and I felt at home. It was a big deal. Then I went upstairs and slept.
