On Beginners with Ira Glass

What people don´t tell beginners is there is a big gap. A big between starting the practice and doing work you know is the fullest level of your capability. You know it too. “This could be better. I am capable of more.”

As it turns out, this is normal. The most important thing is to continue with the process. Write stories every week, create a body of work, set deadlines and move forward. That is what can be done.

UPDATE: Thanks for all your kind words guys! It's quite overwhelming to see this shared and retweeted all over! All sins typographic in nature have been amended, hopefully. Thanks for bearing with it the whole time. :) As always, all credit due to the amazing Ira Glass.
