Friendship

Another good friend in Iquitos recently lost her dad to COVID.

Her mom now has lung cancer, and she is flying off to another country to get treatment. My friend is worried she will never see her mother again.

We had lunch today, and I asked her how I could help.

“Be my friend,” she said.

Otra buena amiga de Iquitos perdió recientemente a su padre a causa del COVID.

Su madre tiene ahora cáncer de pulmón y está volando a otro país para recibir tratamiento. A mi amiga le preocupa no volver a ver a su madre.

Hoy hemos comido y le he preguntado cómo podía ayudarla.

"Sé mi amiga", me dijo.
