I have a lot of moments, especially since moving to Peru, that are so profound and joyful that I call them funeral moments. They speak to a life remembered and experienced through these lenses of experience.

We know when we haven´t taken risks. When we haven´t put things on the line.

The Adult Anna asks, how do I want to be remembered?

A life lived with a vengance. No love letter unwritten, no idea left unwritten or unshared, no kindness left unexpressed, and any scary undone action attempted. Endless amounts of just going ahead.

As my Aunt Anne shared the George Bernard Shaw poem when he says,

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die.

Tengo muchos momentos, especialmente desde que me mudé a Perú, que son tan profundos y alegres que los llamo momentos fúnebres. Hablan de una vida recordada y experimentada a través de estas lentes de la experiencia.

Sabemos cuándo no nos hemos arriesgado. Cuando no nos hemos jugado nada.

La Ana adulta se pregunta: ¿cómo quiero que me recuerden?

Una vida vivida con ganas. Ninguna carta de amor sin escribir, ninguna idea sin escribir o compartir, ninguna bondad sin expresar, y ninguna acción aterradora sin intentar. Un sinfín de acciones sin hacer.

Como mi tía Anne compartió el poema de George Bernard Shaw cuando dice

Quiero estar completamente agotado cuando muera.
