With too much freedom, we get lost.

Where are the guardrails? When do we wash our hands? Who is given the right to cross the street first? When your right to healthcare and drinking water and to survive an endemic disease are fundamentally questioned?

I believe in regulation, carefully done. With freedom comes responsibility. We have freedom but we have responsibility in equal measure.

They don’t exist separately.

¿Dónde están las barandillas? ¿Cuándo nos lavamos las manos? ¿A quién se le da la razón al cruzar la calle? ¿Cuándo se cuestiona fundamentalmente el derecho a la asistencia sanitaria y al agua potable y a sobrevivir a una enfermedad endémica?

Creo en la regulación, hecha con cuidado. La libertad conlleva responsabilidad. Tenemos libertad pero tenemos responsabilidad en igual medida.
