I can’t do all this on my own. Heroism isn’t a sustainable strategy.
If you can’t collaborate, share the process, and share credit, it’s very likely your work won’t go very far. It’s more likely that you won’t make the impact that you could make.
It’s worth learning how. It’s worth learning how to get good at receiving feedback. It’s worth learning how to communicate, share the load, and really listen to people even when you are busy. It’s worth developing the habits, spiriting when things need to get done, and not postponing what can’t and shouldn’t wait.
What I want are real collaborators.
Who wants to share?
Who wants to do all this in a type of adult kindergarten? Because that’s what it’s really like.
Who wants to be honest?
Who wants to be rigorous and kind at the same time?

No puedo hacer todo esto sola, y el heroísmo no es una estrategia sostenible.
Si no puedes colaborar, compartir el proceso y compartir el mérito, es muy probable que tu trabajo no llegue muy lejos. Es aún más probable que no consigas el impacto que podrías lograr.
Merece la pena aprender a hacerlo. Merece la pena aprender a recibir comentarios. Merece la pena aprender a comunicarse, compartir la carga y escuchar de verdad a la gente, incluso cuando se está ocupado. Merece la pena desarrollar los hábitos, animarse cuando hay que hacer las cosas y no posponer lo que no puede ni debe esperar.
Lo que quiero son colaboradores de verdad.
¿Quién quiere compartir?
¿Quién quiere hacer todo esto en una especie de jardín de infancia para adultos? Porque así es realmente.
¿Quién quiere ser honesta?
¿Quién quiere ser rigurosa y amable al mismo tiempo?
