I don’t get it. I don’t get how artists wait for inspiration. What an extraordinary waste of time. It doesn’t line up.
We are waiting for a creative act that will come if we actually sit down and work.
If you wait for a work of God to happen, you could have filled a page of paper with ideas from the burned out section of the stove in the back of your mind.
You never needed spiritual powers to do the work, you just needed to stop doing everything else for
awhile. That’s all.
Waiting for a work of God
No lo entiendo. No entiendo cómo los artistas esperan la inspiración. Qué extraordinaria pérdida de tiempo. No tiene sentido.
Estamos esperando un acto creativo que llegará si realmente nos sentamos a trabajar.
Si esperas a que ocurra una obra de Dios, podrías haber llenado una página de papel con ideas de la sección quemada de la estufa en el fondo de tu mente.
Nunca necesitaste poderes espirituales para hacer el trabajo, sólo necesitaste dejar de hacer todo lo demás por
un rato. Eso es todo.
