I could spend most of my free time on it.
In fact, a lot of my free time goes into that liminal space of creation where I engage with that float itself. Me out there on the raft, in the stretches above whatever is below the water casting my line down.
If you think of it, we are all merely here to create our lives. The artist is simply the person who decided to draw instead of not drawing, noticing something instead of doing something else. The artist is the one who shares instead of not sharing and makes themselves vulnerable instead of hiding.
The artist is the one who doesn’t assume one story is the final version and is okay with jabbing her fork at this new thing, breaking it into pieces to see what might fit inside her mouth.
She thought to herself: “I am just here to create.”
She’s not looking for a certain type of evidence, either. She just drew something instead and kept writing this blog piece. She didn’t not do it.
We are all here to create. Creating causes tension, generating an elixer to feel and be more alive.

Podría dedicarle la mayor parte de mi tiempo libre.
De hecho, gran parte de mi tiempo libre transcurre en ese espacio liminal de creación en el que me comprometo con la propia flotación. Yo ahí fuera, en la balsa, en los tramos por encima de lo que haya debajo del agua lanzando mi sedal hacia abajo.
Si lo piensas, todos estamos aquí simplemente para crear nuestras vidas. El artista es simplemente la persona que decidió dibujar en lugar de no dibujar, fijarse en algo en lugar de hacer otra cosa. El artista es el que comparte en lugar de no compartir y se hace vulnerable en lugar de esconderse.
El artista es el que no asume que una historia es la versión final y está de acuerdo con clavar su tenedor en esta cosa nueva, rompiéndola en pedazos para ver qué puede caber dentro de su boca.
Se dijo a sí misma: "Sólo estoy aquí para crear".
Tampoco busca un determinado tipo de pruebas. Simplemente dibujó algo en su lugar y siguió escribiendo este artículo del blog. Ella no no lo hizo.
Todos estamos aquí para crear. Crear provoca tensión, genera un elixir para sentir y estar más vivo.
