I love how Peruvians eat. It's long. There's not much of an agenda. There's lots of sitting. The photo below of my Peruvian host family captures the experience perfectly. Kids are running around, and I'm drinking cup after cup of coca tea. Everyone is eating plantains and speaking Spanish. Julissa, from last week's post, is all the way in the back. It's nice how generous the concept of family is here. Just come and sit down.
