Last weekend, I had the amazing oppotunity to see an art exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) here in Lima. It featured an installation piece called "Symphony of the Universe" by well-revered Venezuelan artist Milton Bercerra. The piece was "composed" of colorful thread strung throughout the room conspiring towards and holding a central stone.
It is a massive creation discussing The Universe, creative change, and force. I loved it, and I think it speaks beautifully towards the process of change in science, art and being a person. I think any rich experience is the confluence of inumberable tiny threads moving towards a heavy-stone project/thing. It is true for the city of Lima, the babies in our program, meaningful work, or the day in the life of a person.
