Reaching into the Cave

Here is something I have learned... to do creative work, to live honestly, and to share in bigger ways, you have to reach into the cave. This means you have to reach, with  long extended fingers, into the new, dark, and cave-like parts of yourself. It is what I do when I write this blog each week when I attempt to pull my own thinking into the light. I believe it is the seat of vulnerability and true discourse and where creativity comes from. 

 It is this same process of pulling the new ideas, words, and constructs together when speaking Spanish. From a bunch of cobbled-together-ideas, somewhat-memorized-things, and whatever else, you actually say something. Then you need to correct it. Then you use it again.
