When you have completely changed the context of your life, then changed it again, you have to build your life. Then you need to rebuild it. This can be unenjoyable. This is necessary.

Last year was a major and often really challenging year. I won´t use the word painful, but it was really tough. Mostly, because of how much moving around I had to do within Lima, and how hard it was for me to focus. Now I have lit a candle that is sitting next to my laptop as I write this. My new apartment has light pouring in. I have comfortable things I missed around me. I have work I find very meaningful which is a bit of a messy learning process. I get to keep being a person, changing my life, deciding what is important, and doing those things.
