Perhaps one of the gifts of language learning is what happens when

you learn to wrap each sound with air and patience.

This has taken me some time. It took time in English too. You are better understood. You say more diverse things. You are just a person flowing with what you really wanted to say as it comes slowly out of your mouth. You connect more. You shift in your identity as a language learner to just someone having a day speaking Spanish.
