So, it is notable how little media I really consume. I am not bragging about this. I don´t watch much TV. It has been some time since I saw a movie. I do not know much news. I do listen to music that I adore and I am looking to expand this taste in spirals outward. It has been some time since I listened to a podcast.

I think when you are in a space of creation, of struggle, and of newness, you are reminded about your own limited supply of energy. You come into direct contact with what you can take in, what you cannot take in, and what you simply don´t have the energy to manage. It´s not that I don´t care for other people. It is that my own operation, my own stuff, is consuming a lot of space. As is my level of emotional energy to take care of it. So, that is just what this looks like.
