I think of Chris Michaels, a minister I met in Kansas City. He talked about how sometimes you want to climp up mountains inside yourself with energy and excitement. Sometimes, you want to sit next to the mountain and hang out. You do not want to go up there. The grass next to it is nice enough. I think there is enough room in an adventurous human life for both things. Risk and non-risk. Active time and passive time. Quiet and noise. Extroversion and introversion. Whatever.
