Tuning In

I am finding something to be true. I am learning how to tune in more closely like a type of radio channel. There is so much in us. So many frequencies and odd radio noises.

I was sitting at the airport the other night and I witnessed a tiny situation.

This handsome Peruvian dad was at the airport with his little daughter. She had been running around darting about with another little girl. Five minutes later, the dad bought a giant piece of chocolate cake and pulled her stool way up to the table, and she sat there barely tall enough to look over it. It was so adorable, their tiny interaction. It reminded me of a train trip I took to St. Louis with my own dad when I was so little too.

There is something about how that moment would have happened regardless of my third party eyes gazing at it. But I got onto that channel in that moment, and I caught it. There are all these channels going on, all the time. Which ones are actually heard?
