…is time. Far more than money. Exponentially more than love. Seth mentions, “All time is borrowed time.”
Is time the only finite thing?
Time, and how we think about it, use it, crucify ourselves to it, wade around in it, or otherwise make light of it, is a definitely characteristic of being human. I will admit that I prefer the Peruvian concept of time as highly abundant. There’s always more. More time for each step on the sidewalk. More time to engage socially. More time to fix massive public health problems (pause). If I consider that energy is limited and one must sleep to continue any of this, how does that change decisions to be made?
