Learning Nothing Necessary

Learning is wonderful, and learning all the time can be exhausting. Perhaps a good type of exhausting. But exhausting, nonetheless.

There’s another fruitful dialogue away from a desire to constantly productively learn. It abides by the line from the Gwendolyn Brooks poem The Coora Flower.

“It was restful, learning nothing neccesary.”

I write this while gazing at this magnificent tree sitting outside my back balcony between me and the River Itaya. It fits.

Aprender es bonito y aprender todo el tiempo puede ser agotador. Puede ser un buen tipo de agotamiento. Pero agotador de todos modos.

Hay otro dialogo frutífero lejos del deseo de aprender constantamente de forma productiva.
