When you have done the work, you have already decided on a certain outcome.

You have have physically changed your relationship with the outcome because you decided. And more than deciding, you invested.

Another other option is to not doing the work and simply postulate about possible outcomes. But when you have gotten muddy and or been nervous after going ahead, there is no need to postulate.

You already know. And therein lies the gift.
