This is one of my favorite human questions.
It’s also what preludes existence because it presumes a blank space we had the privilege of filling in with whatever magical thing we choose. One option was chosen among many options.
One of my favorite answers: “I just learned it.”
This can mean many things:
I broke it until I didn’t break it.
I was no longer willing to not know it.
I got bored in not knowing.
I invested in the reading for long enough and engaged in it for long enough.
I developed a habit around it and then an identity around it.
Perhaps the most powerful frame of reference for any of us is to say: I learned that without specifically being taught. Teaching ourselves is basically our cue as a species that we continue to develop and change. None of this is over yet. The learning is all still very much taking place.

Esta es una de mis preguntas humanas favoritas.
También es la que preludia la existencia porque presupone un espacio en blanco que tuvimos el privilegio de rellenar con cualquier cosa mágica que eligiéramos. Se eligió una opción entre muchas opciones.
Una de mis respuestas favoritas: "Acabo de aprenderlo".
Esto puede significar muchas cosas:
Lo rompí hasta que no lo rompí.
Ya no estaba dispuesto a no saberlo.
Me aburrí de no saberlo.
Invertí en la lectura durante el tiempo suficiente y me dediqué a ella durante el tiempo suficiente.
Desarrollé un hábito en torno a ella y luego una identidad en torno a ella.
Quizá el marco de referencia más poderoso para cualquiera de nosotros sea decir: Lo aprendí sin que nadie me lo enseñara. Enseñarnos a nosotros mismos es básicamente nuestra señal como especie de que seguimos desarrollándonos y cambiando. Nada de esto ha terminado todavía. Todavía estamos aprendiendo.
