Welcome to a new profession. I had no idea. What a privilege that much of the world wants to (pay to) learn my native language. I acquired this English as a very young person. I am now, for the first time ever, a full time teacher. I didn´t have to learn English pronunciation from a teacher, or practice modals or phrasal verbs. I got it from Shel Silverstein and Eloise. It´s clearer and clearer to me what a big deal that is. My students are open, and language learning is its own form of comedy. The best comedy might the frequency that my own Spanish is corrected by my students in English class.
