What can be said about visiting Machu Picchu? Well, I like to start with appreciation. To be here, at all, is major. To be in place, is enough. It seems this is where visitors come to be quiet and if so inclined, learn a little history. But Machu Picchu is mostly about just being there.
The town of Agua Calientas, or Machu Picchu City, showcases the Urabamba River. This river creates some of the greatest contrasts of this place.
