Can we climb stairs in the dark?

Last night as walked towards to the third floor bedroom, German, one of owners where I am staying saw that my light was out.

He did something simple and magnificent.

He shined his flashlight to illuminate my climb up the stairs. It was silent and generous and something in my brain clicked.

All the tiny lights that others have shown for us, preventing us from stumbling in the dark.

Anoche, mientras caminaba hacia el dormitorio del tercer piso, German, uno de los propietarios donde me hospedo, vio que mi luz estaba apagada.

Hizo algo sencillo y magnifico.

Iluminó con su linterna mi subida por las escaleras. Fue silencioso y generoso y algo en mi cerebro hizo clic.

Todas las pequeñas luces que otros han mostrado por nosotros, evitando que tropecemos en la oscuridad.
