I got in the back of a mototaxi today and the young man had wired an enormous speaker between the driver and passenger. There was a big purple cable, and after picking me up he immediately put on music. He immediately enjoyed it. What struck me was his resolve. He picked me up, put on the music, and we were on the way. Yes, it was a better ride.

I mentioned it to him.

Me: This makes it a better day, right?

Him: Yes, it´s more fun and it handles all the noise better too.

All I could think is: this is what happens when we make up our minds.

Hoy me he subido a la parte trasera de un mototaxi y el joven había conectado un enorme altavoz entre el conductor y el pasajero. Había un cable morado, y después de recogerme puso inmediatamente música. Inmediatamente la disfrutó. Lo que me llamó la atención fue la determinación. Me recogió, puso la música y nos pusimos en marcha. Sí, fue un viaje mejor.

Se lo comenté.

Yo: Esto hace que sea un día mejor, ¿verdad?

Él: Sí, es más divertido y además aguanta mejor todo el ruido.

Lo único que pude pensar es: esto es lo que pasa cuando nos decidimos.
